Teen Movie: INTO THE WOODS
Tuesday, April 7th 6:30pm
 Join us for a viewing of Into the Woods. It is a modern twist on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a musical format that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel -all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them. Rated PG

BIRTHDAY CARDS FOR ELDERLY
Friday, April 10th 3-4pm
Join us to make birthday cards for the elderly. Our cards will help bring joy to some of our isolated seniors in the area. Often, this card is the only recognition a senior receives on his or her birthday. Community service will be awarded.

SPRING CLEANING
Tuesday, April 14th 3-5pm
It’s that time of year again, and the YA books need to be cleaned. If you need volunteer hours or you just want to pitch in, come help us out for 1 or 2 hours. Community service will be awarded.

Chess Club
Children (3rd-6th Grade) 7-7:55pm
YA & Adults (7
th-Adult) 8-8:55pm
Check or Checkmate? Do you play chess or are you interested in learning? If you would like to be part of a chess club, we have the right one for you. Our chess club will meet on Tuesdays, April 14th & 28th and May 12th, 19th & 26th. No registration required.

Manicure WORKSHOP
Monday, April 20th 7-8:30pm
Come and spend some quality time with Mom, Grandma, or your friends and learn how to manicure, decorate and care for your nails. Nail kit provided to each participant. $5 materials fee required at registration.

Babysitting WORKSHOP
Tuesday, April 21st 6:30-8:30pm
Teenagers are invited to learn the basics of caring for infants and small children along with first aid techniques. Registered nurses Joanne Tanck and Georgette Basso will present a two-hour basic first aid course and an introduction to babysitting skills. Participants are asked to bring a doll or stuffed animal for demonstration. Certificates will be awarded.

Taco Night
Tuesday, April 28th 7-8pm
Mrs. Kathy will teach us how to season chicken and prepare a delicious and nutritious taco. There will be a choice of soft and hard tacos, and lots of toppings! Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies.

Celebrate YALSA’s Teen Tech Week March 8-14, 2015 as we show that “Libraries are for Making...”. Our library has so many ways to explore, create and share content. Did you know you can borrow e-books and magazines for your Kindle, Nook or iPad? Or download music for free? Or research from home using our databases? Check out all of the options available to you at www.northbellmorelibrary.org and put your library card to good use! And join us for all the fun programs we have to celebrate Teen Tech Week!

Computer apps for teens
Mondays, March 9th & 16th 7-8:30pm
 Celebrate TTW by learning the principles of programming and using a hands-on application. Create or modify a computer application such as an animated birthday card.  

Teen Movie: Mockingjay part 1
Tuesday, March 10th 6:30pm
Join us for a viewing of Part 1 of this two part conclusion to the popular movie trilogy series. Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage. No registration required. PG-13

 Craft Buddies
Mondays, March 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th 3:30-4:30pm
March is National Craft Month. What better way to celebrate than to volunteer to help young children create fun spring craft projects! Community service will be awarded to all participants. Open to grades 5 and up.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread For Charity
Wednesday, March 18th 7-8pm
After a demonstration, we will measure and mix the ingredients to make Irish Soda Bread loaves to donate to those in need. We will also make scones to bring home to bake. All participants will receive a community service certificate. Open to grades 5 and up. This class may contain food allergens.

Blankets for Charity
Monday, March 23rd 7-8pm
Have fun while earning community service making blankets for those in need! No sewing involved. We will measure, cut, and knot fleece material to make cuddly blankets. All participants will receive a community service certificate. Open to grades 5 and up.
