Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I DVD Release Party


Monday, April 18th 1PM


Join us for a viewing of the newest chapter of Harry Potter's adventures. There will be snacks, raffles, prizes and trivia! Get your tickets at the Adult Reference Desk.


Pretzel Making Workshop


Wednesday, April 20th 7-8:15PM


Have fun learning how to make homemade hot pretzels from scratch. You will measure, mix, knead and shape your own pretzel. Open to grades 5-12.


Bach to Rock


Wednesday, April 20th 2-3PM


Come and rock at the Library to a new world of music with Caryn Lin! Ms. Lin is a one-woman musical extravanganza with her five-string electric violin, singing, sound effects, and a milti-talented sound engineer. This will be a mind-boggling experience that will not disappoint! Get your tickets at the Reference Desk April 6th.


Monster Tuesday

Have you mastered the paper airplane? Ready for a real challenge? Join us to create a unique and frightening papertoy monster. It will be paper airplanes meet Origami meets Pokemon. After you finish your amazing creature settle in for a viewing of Monsters Inc. at 4PM.


Mother's Day Craft


Tuesday, May 3rd, 7-8PM


Need a gift for Mom? Join us to paint a unique flower pot and create a card to show Mom how much you appreciate her. Open to grades 5-12.


Need Community Service Hours?


The Teens Advisory Group is sponsoring a Carnival for children in grades K-3 on Monday, April 25th at 1PM and we need your help. We need teen volunteers to help decorate, run the different booths, distribute prizes, etc. If interested, please sign up in advance at the Adult Reference Desk.


Chess Club


Children (3rd-6th Grade) 7-7:55PM YA & Adults (7th-Adult) 8-8:55PM


Our chess club will meet on Tuesdays, April 12th & 25th and May 10th & 24th. New players welcome! Sign up any night the club meets.


Teen Advisory Group

Join TAG and share your opinions about what you would like to see and do at NBL. Earn community service credit and have fun! Join us for our latest project - a Carnival for NBL kids!


Lego Club


Tuesday, April 12th, 3:30-4:30PM


Join us to practice your crazy Lego building skills. We will provide the Legos - you create the masterpiece. Don't forget your digital camera to work on a stop motion film! Open to grades 4-9. No registration required.


Manga Club


Thursday, April 21st, 4-5PM


Join us after school to read and discuss manga. We will chat about storylines, characters and artwork. No registration required.
