Chess Club
Children (3rd-6th Grade) 7-7:55pm
YA & Adult (7th Grade-Adult) 8-8:55pm
Our chess club will meet on Tuesdays, December 7th & 14th and January 4th & 18th. New players welcome. Register on any night the club meets.

Lego Club
Tuesday, December 14, 3:30-4:30pm
Join us to practice your crazy Lego building skills! We supply the Legos, or you can bring your own.

Babysitting Workshop
Tuesday, December 21, 6:30-8:30pm
Registered nurses Joanne Tanck and Georgette Basso return to present a two-hour basic first aid course and an introduction to babysitting skills. Bring a doll or stuffed animal to practice on. All participants receive a certificate. Register in advance at the Adult Reference Desk.

LICM Teen Painting Workshop
Monday, December 27, 1-2:30pm
The Long Island Children's Museum will present this workshop to explore the art and life of Willem de Kooning, one of the famous painters of the abstract expressionist movement. You will create your own painting using large canvases, paint, tracing vellum and a variety of other materials. All supplies included. Register in advance at the Adult Reference Desk.

Got Game?
Tuesday, December 28, 4pm
Join us for an afternoon of Wii gaming fun. We will choose from a selection of the newest games. Come and show off your Wii skills.

Glam Gloves
Wednesday, December 29, 3-4:30pm
Join us to turn a boring pair of gloves into glitzy glam gloves. We will sew on beads and other bling to create a unique pair of gloves created by you.

Get Creative with Fuse Beads
Thursday, December 30, 2-3pm
Join us to test your creativity with fuse beads. We have many patterns to choose from. Create an ornament, a keychain, a decoration for your locker-there are so many options to choose from.
